35th Anniversary Issue Published
A special celebration issue of the Hollywood Free Paper, titled "This Could Be the Last Time", has been printed and is available in limited quantity.
Published on the 35th anniversary of the first HFP hitting the streets in 1969, this special edition contains articles about the history of the HFP and the Jesus Movement, some photos and cartoons from various issues of the original HFP, and much more.
This wonderful birthday issue is intended as a one-time special event, and we currently have no plans to print another.
If you read the HFP back in the 1970s, if you were involved in the Jesus Movement, or even if you just discovered us and are wondering what these hippie Jesus Freaks are all about, we'd love to send you a copy.
The paper is free, as it always was, but your donation - large or small - will help cover the postage. To request your copy, please write to Duane Pederson, Hollywood Free Paper, Post Office Box 1949, Hollywood, CA 90078-1949. We look forward to hearing from you.
Oh, and speaking of history... the building in the background in this photo is the famous Taft Building on the corner of Hollywood and Vine, where we had our office for many years on the sixth floor.
